This emergency livelihood support fund was prepared to encourage the hard work of workers in the elderly care sector who have been quietly working during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to help alleviate the financial difficulties of local funeral homes struggling due to social distancing.

100,000 won was paid to elderly care workers, and 1 million won per branch was given to local funeral homes facing difficulties due to social distancing. Additionally, 30 masks each were distributed to 2,071 elderly customized care service recipients and 90 senior guardians.

County Governor Lee Seung-ok said, "I hope this emergency livelihood support fund will be of some help to those struggling due to COVID-19. Although these are difficult and challenging times for everyone, let us continue to encourage each other and overcome these hardships together."
