[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] After starting lower on the 21st, the KOSPI, which had successfully turned to an early session rise, fell back into a downward trend due to selling pressure from individual investors.
As of 9:55 AM, the KOSPI stood at 3,008.90, down 4.23 points (0.14%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 3,012.28, down 0.03% (0.85 points) from the previous day. It managed to recover above the 3,020 level briefly after turning upward in the early session.
By investor type, individuals sold a net 32.6 billion KRW. Meanwhile, foreigners and institutions bought a net 31.8 billion KRW and 600 million KRW, respectively.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ was down 6.69 points (0.67%) from the previous session, standing at 994.93. The index opened at 1,003.48, up 0.19% (1.86 points) from the previous day.
