Foreign Investment Companies Job Fair, First Simultaneous On- and Offline Event Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The 'Foreign-Invested Companies (FIC) Job Fair,' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by KOTRA, will be held on the 21st and 22nd at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention Center (SETEC) in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The fair, which started in 2006 and is now in its 16th year, will be conducted in a hybrid format combining both online and offline for the first time.

The fair, with 108 foreign-invested companies participating, is expected to attract about 4,000 job seekers over the two days. Based on parent companies, 44 are from Europe, 35 from Asia, and 29 from North America, totaling foreign-invested companies from 21 countries. These companies plan to hire approximately 800 people across fields such as management and administration, research and development, sales, and services.

On-site, there will be consultations with HR representatives from each foreign-invested company, in-depth interviews, and employment consulting. According to quarantine guidelines, only those who have completed prior registration will be allowed entry to the venue. Instead, online services such as recruitment consultation webinars and live broadcasts of employment special lectures will be provided.
