[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sports Facilities Office of Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it conducted the 2021 National Safety Diagnosis Public-Private Joint Inspection at Geochang Sports Park on the 19th.

The inspection targets were sports facilities such as Geochang Sports Complex and Geochang-gun Gymnasium. The county inspected the safety management status of architecture, structures, electricity, and firefighting together with private experts.

In particular, drones were used to thoroughly inspect blind spots that are difficult to check with the naked eye, such as the sports tower lighting, enhancing the effectiveness of the inspection.

The Sports Facilities Office plans to take immediate corrective actions on minor issues on site based on the safety inspection results, and to prevent safety accidents by thoroughly managing the history of facilities requiring repair and reinforcement until the measures are completed.
