[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Seo Chunsu, the mayor of Hamyang County, urged thorough pre-management to prevent cold damage to crops and proactive safety management for vulnerable groups on the 18th.

On the morning of the same day, Seo presided over an executive meeting at the county office and stated, "Early cold weather continues, with a cold wave advisory issued as the lowest temperature was recorded in mid-October."

He also mentioned measures in response to the extension of the COVID-19 social distancing level 3. He pointed out, "Although restrictions such as the number of people allowed have been eased with the extension of social distancing level 3 until the 31st, it is necessary to maintain vigilance and strictly manage quarantine guidelines," and ordered, "Please make every effort to prepare measures such as policies to revitalize the local economy in anticipation of entering the with-COVID-19 system in daily life."

In addition, he requested thorough attention to current urgent tasks including integrity evaluations, deregulation to increase population, progress of major projects, and on-site inspections by the county council.

Mayor Seo said, "We must ensure strict supervision and management so that the facilities related to the successfully held expo can be cleanly restored to their original state through demolition."
