[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 18th that it will hold the '2021 Korea Wood Industry Fair (WOOD FAIR)' from the 20th to the 23rd of this month at COEX in Seoul.
The fair is hosted by the Korea Forest Service and organized by the Korea Federation of Wood Industry Associations.
Now in its 11th year, the fair features participation from over 50 institutions and companies related to the domestic wood industry, operating 162 exhibition booths, allowing visitors to experience the entire wood industry process from production to processing, distribution, and consumption, including wooden architecture, wooden furniture, and wood utilization and culture.
The main programs include ▲side events such as first-come-first-served viewing planned events and photo shooting planned events, ▲experience events such as making wooden pens, ▲linked events such as the Wood Culture Festival and the Wooden Architecture Exhibition Awards Ceremony, and ▲exhibition events such as displays of award-winning works from the Wooden Architecture Exhibition.
In particular, this year's fair is linked with the Wood Culture Festival and the Korea Architecture Industry Exhibition, which the Korea Forest Service expects will raise public interest in wood culture and serve as an opportunity to expand the use of eco-friendly wood products in the architectural field.
For more detailed information about the fair, please visit the Korea Forest Service website and the Wood Industry Fair Secretariat website.
The opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on the 21st. Related videos can also be viewed live through the Korea Forest Service's YouTube channel.
