The Coexistence Festa, aimed at revitalizing the culture and arts sector affected by COVID-19, will be held with about 200 cultural and artistic figures active in Buk-gu, featuring various cultural events such as exhibitions and performances.
First, in the exhibition category, the ‘Art Sharing Small Works Exhibition’ will be held until the 28th at Geumbong Art Museum in Buk-gu Sihwa Cultural Village, where visitors can view about 160 works including paintings, ceramics, and sculptures by 55 local artists.
In particular, to introduce and sell works and conduct online interviews with participating artists, the ‘Art On Air’ live commerce will be operated with students from Chonnam National University LINC+, and it will be broadcast live on the ‘Gwangju Buk-gu Office’ YouTube channel for two days on the 23rd and 24th.
In the performance category, various performance groups and singers will participate, with events such as the ‘Music Festa with National Gwangju Museum’ on the outdoor stage in the garden of the National Gwangju Museum on the 6th of next month, and the ‘Autumn Night Music Festa’ held around the Wangbeodeulnamu area in Chunghyo-dong on the 13th.
