[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] A concert aimed at the development of classical music in the Republic of Korea and enhancing the brand value of Gwangju's musical capabilities will be held.
The non-profit organization Camerata Jeonnam announced on the 18th that the "8th Regular Concert" will take place on the 26th at 7:30 PM at the Bitgoeul Citizen Culture Center.
This performance, produced through the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service's Ojakgyo Project for Performing Arts Creation, will feature a total of three pieces, starting with a work by composer Choi Gowon, followed by Beethoven's Violin Concerto, and Stravinsky's Petrushka.
The Ojakgyo Project by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service supports collaboration with orchestras to expand opportunities for composers to perform their original works, establishing a stable creative foundation that enables continuous discovery and performance of new compositions.
The concert will feature conductor Park Inwook, composer Choi Gowon, and violinist Kim Eungsu, offering a meaningful stage where audiences can vividly appreciate lyrical classical music, innovative contemporary music, and original compositions imbued with Korean sentiment.
Camerata Jeonnam continues its efforts to contribute to the enhancement of Gwangju's musical capabilities and brand value, as well as the development of classical music in the Republic of Korea, by presenting works that resonate with the public and offering diverse perspectives on appreciation.
