[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hanwha Life Insurance has conducted its regular executive personnel appointments earlier than usual. This move aims to establish business plans early and prepare strategies for next year amid increasing economic uncertainties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

On the 15th, Hanwha Life announced that it had promoted a total of 14 executives, including appointing Executive Director Ko Byung-gu as Vice President, along with 2 vice presidents, 7 executive directors, and 5 managing directors.

Hanwha Life Financial Service, which launched as a sales subsidiary last April, also conducted promotions on the same day. Current CEO Koo Do-gyo was promoted to President, and two managing directors were newly appointed.

This round of promotions was conducted about a month earlier than usual to establish a new financial vision and strategy leading the digital innovation era and to maximize the company's future value. The plan focuses on simultaneously growing the insurance business and new businesses based on insurance.

Additionally, the company aims to maximize Hanwha Life Financial Service's sales capabilities by supporting customer-oriented product development and sales activities. In this promotion, Hanwha Life appointed two new female executives, Managing Directors Kim Soo-young and Eom Ji-seon.
