Kim Eui-gyeom Reveals '19+ Content' Uncensored During National Audit... [Asia Economy Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Kim Ui-gyeom, a member of the Open Democratic Party, is causing controversy by exposing '19+ content' without mosaic censorship during the National Assembly audit.

On the 14th, during the National Assembly Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee audit, Kim pointed out that some video content rated as suitable for viewers aged 15 and over by the Video Rating Board was being distributed online as adult content, and revealed related site screens via PPT. At this time, screens showing women with explicit exposure were displayed as is.

Regarding this, Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the People Power Party, raised a parliamentary procedure statement, saying, "Member Kim made a meaningful inquiry, but the audit is actually open to the entire public," and added, "Although the members present at the audit are adults, since anyone can watch it, mosaic processing is necessary for the parts uploaded to the National Assembly broadcast."

In response, Lee Chae-ik, chairperson of the Culture Committee and member of the People Power Party, said, "We will take measures accordingly." Currently, the recorded video of the audit uploaded to the National Assembly video meeting record system has the PPT materials presented by Kim mosaic censored.

Kim's office stated in a phone call with Yonhap News on the same day, "Our intention was only to confirm the seriousness of the issue, but considering that the public can also watch it, there was carelessness in the result," and expressed that they will exercise special caution going forward.
