Hwang Jung-eum Reunites with Husband, Pregnant with Second Child

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actress Hwang Jung-eum, who announced her reconciliation with her husband, is pregnant with her second child.

Her agency C-JeS Entertainment stated on the 12th, "Hwang Jung-eum is pregnant with her second child," adding, "She is expected to give birth next year, but the exact timing is unknown."

Hwang Jung-eum married professional golfer-turned-businessman Lee Young-don in 2016, and they welcomed a son in February of the following year.

The couple filed for divorce mediation at the Suwon District Court Seongnam Branch in September last year, but after 10 months of mediation, they reconciled in July. At that time, the agency said, "During the divorce mediation, Hwang Jung-eum and her husband understood each other's positions and, through deep conversations, decided to continue their marriage."

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-eum debuted as a member of the group Sugar and has appeared in the sitcom "High Kick Through the Roof," dramas such as "Secret," "Kill Me, Heal Me," "Lucky Romance," "Ssanggap Pocha," and films including "Gosa: The Second Story" and "A Pig Like Woman."
