KT Opens 'KT Rolster PC Cafe' in Seoul Sinchon and Busan Seomyeon

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 11th that it has formed an intellectual property (IP) sharing partnership with the PC bang franchise company 'Mega Three Pop' and the e-sports brand 'KT Rolster,' and has opened the Rolster PC Cafe.

The Rolster PC Cafe is a space where existing PC bangs owned by Mega Three Pop have been remodeled with the KT Rolster image, located in Seoul Sinchon’s "Street of Youth," which has a high flow of MZ generation foot traffic, and in Busan Seomyeon. In particular, the Busan Seomyeon branch has 700 seats, making it the largest PC bang in the country.

KT customers visiting the Rolster PC Cafe can receive a 10% discount on PC bang usage fees once per day.

Hyunjin Park, Executive Director of KT’s Customer Strategy Headquarters, said, "KT held the largest amateur gaming tournament in the country to support the MZ generation challenging themselves as gamers. In the same context, we prepared the Rolster PC Cafe to transform PC cafes, where the MZ generation enjoys gaming, into complex cultural spaces."
