[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Seoyoung] YouTuber Aori (real name Kim Minyoung), who has 560,000 subscribers, revealed that she experienced side effects of bruising all over her body after receiving a health injection.
On the 9th, Aori posted on her social media (SNS), "The past week has been so painful, it really felt like I was in a car accident. Every time I looked at my body, it was so shocking that it was a tough week," attaching photos of her body. In the photos, Aori’s entire body was covered with bruises in various places.
Aori said, "I wanted to hide it because I only want to show a healthy and good appearance," but added, "I have so many scheduled events coming up, and the bruises have spread from my fingertips to my toes, so it’s impossible to hide." She continued, "To ease your worries, this is not a procedure that normally causes bruising," explaining, "I got the injection because it was said to be a health shot good for chronic inflammation and misaligned body posture."

Additionally, Aori wrote, "I still don’t quite understand what happened to me," and added, "I think this has been a valuable time to deeply realize the importance of health." She concluded, "My face is fine, so I’ll wear long-sleeved tops and long pants, and I’ll recover my condition quickly to meet you all again with a bright appearance," and urged, "Health is the most important. I have so much to say, so please wait a little longer."
Meanwhile, Aori’s husband and former race car driver turned entrepreneur, Seo Juwon, raised concerns about the hospital’s response on the same day through his SNS, saying, "(The hospital) made my wife end up like this and then shouted at us with a brazen attitude," and added, "It may not be a medical accident or side effect. However, if they have never seen such symptoms after the procedure, shouldn’t they at least consider our position?"
Seo also criticized, "What on earth is the chief director thinking, yelling at the patient?" and pointed out, "He said his daughter is (Aori’s) fan and that he personally stopped the bleeding, but is it normal for someone unrelated to the hospital to participate in the procedure and stop the bleeding?" He further stated, "They charged for an additional procedure while I was still under sedation, and when I requested a refund, they cited the terms and conditions," raising his voice in criticism, "Can they really handle this? It’s not about the money."
