On the 11th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that it will provide the "National Urban Park Information Service" on Gongyunu to support the leisure activities of citizens exhausted by COVID-19. The "National Urban Park Information Service" offers information on 9,433 children's parks, 4,133 neighborhood parks for local residents, and 2,688 small parks serving as small rest areas for city dwellers, categorized by local governments nationwide. It also provides information on 355 waterfront parks, 330 cultural parks, 223 sports parks, and 581 other parks.
The "National Urban Park Information Service" can be accessed via the PC Gongyunu website or the mobile Gongyunu app. In particular, a banner is posted at the top of the Gongyunu website's main page to make it easy for the public to use. Additionally, Gongyunu offers services such as "Quarantine Supplies Rental Service," "Free Parking Lot Information Service near Screening Clinics and Vaccination Centers," and "National Camping Sites and Recreational Forest Information Service" to support citizens' convenience and leisure activities during COVID-19.
Park Deok-su, Director of Public Service Policy, said, "As the season for outings arrives, we hope that the 'National Urban Park Information Service' for nearby children's parks and neighborhood parks will help citizens enjoy comfortable leisure activities," and added, "We also ask that you strictly follow quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19 when using urban parks."
