Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Operates Career Experience Classes for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Seobu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chief Yang Young-gyu) operated a career experience class on the 5th to nurture future firefighters.


On this day, the education took place in the auditorium of Gwangju Middle School with three classes participating, and was conducted in the order of ▲ introduction to fire station duties and firefighter careers ▲ exploration of firefighting career paths through firefighting-related quizzes ▲ game-based CPR practice using QCPR mannequins to increase participation in the education.


Applications for the education can be made by accessing the Career Experience Support Network (Kkumgil) website, searching for career experience sites, or by contacting the education manager for consultation and application.


Yang Young-gyu, chief of Seobu Fire Station, stated, “We will strive to cultivate safety awareness during adolescence to spread a culture of safety and support career planning to nurture future firefighters.”
