[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gyeongnam National University announced on the 5th that it signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Gyeongnam Provincial Namhae College on the 30th of last month.
This agreement was prepared to activate regional industry-academia cooperation and establish a cooperative system for the Ministry of Education's LINC+ project.
Through the agreement, both institutions promised to cooperate in industry-academia-government collaboration and mutual information exchange, mutual cooperation to activate regional industry-academia cooperation, technical and management consulting related to industry-academia cooperation, exchange of joint research personnel, joint operation of programs such as industry-academia cooperation seminars, special lectures, and workshops, cooperation on overall matters necessary for the expansion of the LINC+ project, and cooperation in smart manufacturing ICT tasks.
President Park Jae-gyu said, "We will spare no effort to ensure employment linkage and continuous educational exchange for students and graduates in the science and engineering fields, which are our mutual strengths."
Attendees at the signing ceremony included Gyeongnam National University President Park Jae-gyu, Gyeongnam Provincial Namhae College President Jo Hyun-myung, Gyeongnam National University Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation Kang Jae-gwan, LINC+ Project Deputy Director Bae Seong-hwan, and Gyeongnam Provincial Namhae College Dean of Academic Affairs Park Tae-jong, among others.
