Donghae-si Extends 'Social Distancing Level 3' Until the 17th

Private Gatherings of Up to 8 People Including Those Fully Vaccinated

[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Donghae City in Gangwon Province will extend the current Level 3 social distancing measures until the 17th.

According to Donghae City on the 5th, private gatherings are limited to a maximum of 8 people including those fully vaccinated, as before. Unvaccinated individuals are allowed up to 4 people only.

Wedding venues can accommodate up to 49 people including meals, but an additional 50 fully vaccinated people can be added, allowing a maximum of 99 attendees.

However, for weddings without meals, up to 199 people can attend, including 100 fully vaccinated individuals.

First birthday parties (Doljanchi) are limited to a maximum of 16 people, but including 33 fully vaccinated people, up to 49 attendees are allowed.

Meanwhile, the city plans to maximize the vaccination rate among citizens to facilitate 'With Corona' and phased daily recovery.

As of the 4th, among Donghae City's population of 90,056, 70,052 people (77.7%) have received the first dose, and 50,487 people (57.4%) are fully vaccinated.
