The Apple Watch 7 features a thinner bezel, a display size that is 20% larger than its predecessor, and faster charging speeds. It is praised for having the most durable front crystal among all previous watch series, using a crack-resistant front crystal.
Apple announced on the 5th that pre-orders for the Apple Watch 7 will begin on the 8th, with in-store sales starting on the 15th. Prices start at 499,000 KRW.
The Apple Watch 7, available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, has a screen size approximately 20% larger than the previous model. With a thickness of 1.7 millimeters (mm) and a thinner bezel, the display area is maximized while minimizing changes to the product dimensions. It also offers a user interface optimized for the larger display and a new QWERTY keyboard. The battery lasts for 18 hours, and charging speed is 33% faster than the previous model.
The Apple Watch 7 uses a crystal material on the front to prevent cracks caused by external impacts, enhancing durability compared to its predecessor. It also features dust resistance rated at IP6X and water resistance at WR50 level.
The aluminum model is available in five colors: Midnight, Starlight, Green, new Blue, and (PRODUCT)RED. The stainless steel model comes in three colors: Silver, Graphite, and Gold. The Apple Watch Edition is available in Titanium and Space Black Titanium. Additionally, exclusive bands and watch faces for Nike and Herm?s are unveiled, while the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch 3 retain their existing colors.
Apple explained that with the complete redesign of the online store, shopping at Apple’s online and offline stores has become more convenient. They offer personalized support and advice from Apple Specialists, convenient delivery and pickup options, free engraving, special carrier benefits, and new trade-in prices.
