On September 22, sportswear specialty program 'Run by Style' launched, exceeding 1 billion KRW in orders
Golf program 'Sunday Good Shot' revamped on the 10th... New themes such as camping and hiking introduced
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 5th that, ahead of the transition to 'With Corona,' it will expand specialized sportswear programs by launching new programs and revamping golf-themed broadcasts, as preference for sportswear rises due to increased expectations for outdoor activities.
Recently, demand for sportswear, which is highly versatile in various environments including short-distance outings, outdoor activities, and professional sports, has surged. From January 1 to September 30 this year, Lotte Homeshopping’s orders for athleisure looks such as tracksuits and training wear approximately doubled compared to the same period last year, while golf wear orders increased by about 40%. Accordingly, the company plans to strengthen the operation of sports-specialized programs by launching new programs under the 'Sports & Casual' concept and expanding the product range of existing golf-themed programs.
On August 22, Lotte Homeshopping launched the sportswear specialty program 'Run by Style.' During the broadcast, it exclusively introduced 'Calvin Klein Performance' padding vests and training setups, achieving over 1 billion KRW in order value. Going forward, the company plans to selectively offer popular sportswear brand products such as 'Jeep' and 'Levi’s' at reasonable prices. On the 6th at 7:40 PM, the outdoor specialty brand 'Montbell'’s 'Fleece' will be featured. Customers who purchase during the broadcast will be entered into a draw to receive home training gifts such as yoga mats and gym balls.
The golf-themed program 'Sunday Good Shot' will also be revamped to expand its product range with new themes like camping and outdoor activities. Since its launch in October last year, 'Sunday Good Shot' has continuously introduced trendy products such as 'PGA' and 'Cutter & Buck,' achieving a cumulative order amount of approximately 13 billion KRW to date. The first broadcast after the revamp, scheduled for the 10th at 10 AM, will feature Lotte Homeshopping’s exclusive brand 'Gio Spirit' golf wear line for the first time. The set includes a knit padding jacket for outdoor rounds and a pullover that is highly versatile as a daily item. Customers purchasing during the broadcast will receive up to 10% reward points and be entered into a draw to win 'Lotte Skyhill CC usage vouchers.'
Kang Jaejun, head of Lotte Homeshopping’s fashion division, said, "With growing expectations for 'With Corona,' sportswear suitable for outdoor activities is increasingly preferred as a fall fashion item, so we are strengthening related program operations. We will continue to introduce differentiated products that can be used from daily life to outdoor and professional sports, reflecting customer demand."
