Jungnang-gu Hosts Manguri Park Photo Contest

Submission Open for Manguri Park Photo Contest Until October 29... Capture and Submit Photos Reflecting Diverse Stories Seen, Felt, and Experienced at Manguri Park

Jungnang-gu Hosts Manguri Park Photo Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is holding a photo contest featuring stories from Manguri Park until October 29.

The various stories captured in the photos will be reflected in the development of Manguri Park as a historical and cultural park.

The district stated that the photo contest was organized to raise interest in Manguri Park and the modern historical figures buried there, and to allow visitors to take a moment to rest from their tiring daily lives while reflecting in the park during autumn.

The theme of the contest is "The Story of Manguri Park Created by You and Me," and participants are free to capture anything they see, feel, and experience about the park in their photos.

Anyone who is a citizen of the Republic of Korea can participate in this contest.

The submission requirements specify that photos must be in JPG format, taken with a mobile phone or camera, be at least 3MB in size, and have a minimum width of 3000 pixels. Duplicate works, similar works, computer graphic images, and composite photos are not allowed.

Each participant can submit up to three works, and submissions must include the application form and portrait rights consent form, which should be sent via email to manguripk@jn.go.kr.

The results will be announced in mid-November on the Jungnang-gu Office and Manguri Park websites. After judging by internal and external committee members, a total of 25 winners will be selected: ▲Grand Prize (1 person) ▲Excellence Prize (2 persons) ▲Encouragement Prize (4 persons) ▲Honorable Mention (18 persons), with Onnuri gift certificates awarded as prizes.

Notably, the winning works are planned to be exhibited in the Jungnang Mangwoo Space, which will be completed in the second half of this year, and will also be used for promotional materials for Jungnang Mangwoo Space and Manguri Park, helping to widely publicize them.

Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “We hope you will share your precious memories, experiences, and feelings at Manguri Park through your photos and join us in making Manguri Park a representative historical and cultural park of Seoul. We will continue to make efforts to create a Manguri Park that many residents can visit and enjoy.”
