[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Singer Lee Soo-young opens up about her past when she lost her entire fortune to fraud and even went into debt.

In the 4th episode of the KBS Joy variety show 'National Receipt,' airing on the 1st, MCs Song Eun-yi, Kim Sook, and Park Young-jin analyze Lee Soo-young's receipts.

During a recent recording, when the MCs mentioned, "There was a rumor that you had more money than the Bank of Korea during your prime," Lee Soo-young joked, "Not that much. I had more than Joeun Bank."

However, she revealed, "Everyone thinks I must own at least one building, but I was completely scammed. I lost everything I earned in my 20s during my 30s and even went into debt. Now, I don't invest in anything," evoking sympathy.

She then shared her motto: "Spend all the money I worked hard to earn before I go." She declared that she would not leave any inheritance to her son, saying, "I think the worst thing to leave to children is money."

Also, calling herself a 'Makjubu' (a term combining 'makgeolli' and 'housewife'), the receipts she revealed were filled with online shopping records, catching attention. In response, Park Young-jin quipped, "This damn shopping," causing laughter.

It was also reported that Lee Soo-young's receipts included records of psychiatric treatment, drawing the attention of the three MCs.

'National Receipt,' featuring Lee Soo-young, will air tonight (the 1st) at 9:10 PM.
