[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Nexen Tire announced on the 29th that it has published the 2020·21 ESG report, which contains the results of its sustainable management.
Following the publication of its first ESG report (2019·20) last year, Nexen Tire has expanded its ESG management and published this second report to demonstrate its commitment to becoming a customer-centric company.
This report records Nexen Tire's ESG history and key activities related to environment, society, and governance, providing extensive information to stakeholders.
In particular, it transparently discloses various eco-friendly management activities by Nexen Tire aimed at minimizing environmental impact, such as reducing air pollutant emissions and research and development for producing eco-friendly products. It also includes Nexen Tire's efforts to understand diverse customer needs and reflect them in products, as well as ESG activities for the local community.
Kang Ho-chan, Vice Chairman of Nexen Tire, stated, "Creating more opportunities and value through new connections with the world, ultimately enriching human life, is Nexen Tire's goal," adding, "We will firmly establish an ESG-centered management system to fulfill the company's social responsibilities."
