[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Busan Dongnae-gu Career Education Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Career Center) announced on the 28th that it conducted the 'Reading Month' event online from the 18th to the 25th to promote reading among local youth and residents in celebration of Reading Month.

This event was held with the schedule of 'Making My Own Bookstand' experience event, 'Meeting with Fairy Tale Author Han Jeong-gi,' and 'Book Report Contest.'

'Making My Own Bookstand' was conducted by Cheon Hyun-mi, the representative of Haesol Workshop, who provided kits through a drive-thru for families to make at home.

During the meeting with the author, a message was delivered to the youth about career paths, sharing experiences as an author along with dreams and hopes.

The book report contest involved elementary, middle school students, and parents who read designated books, wrote reviews, and were judged.

The judges included writer Ahn Sang-heon from Apple Humanities Academy, Center Director Son Jeong-woo of the Career Center, and Sharon Kang, editor-in-chief of the Education Network Siseon. The event was divided into two parts: a special lecture by writer Ahn in the first part, followed by an awards ceremony by category in the second part.

A participant in the book report contest said, "It was a meaningful time for parents and students to participate together, read books, and write," adding, "I gained confidence in writing."

Center Director Son said, "I hope this writing experience becomes a good opportunity for youth to cherish wonderful memories and experiences," and added, "We will work harder to become a center that supports the dreams of young people in the future."
