LG Electronics-Hyundai Engineering Current Employees Share Know-How
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 29th that it will hold a live employment special lecture titled 'How to Write a Self-Introduction Letter That Looks Like a Prospective Skilled Worker' to help young people increase their document screening pass rates and succeed in employment.
The live special lecture, which will be held for 90 minutes starting at 9 PM on the 30th, will feature current employees from LG Electronics B2B sales and Hyundai Engineering plant design positions sharing their employment know-how. Employment YouTuber Jacob (YouTube channel ‘Insadamdangja’), who has over 240,000 job-seeker subscribers, will conduct the live employment lecture and a job consultation corner.
In this live special lecture, not only will current employees of large corporations teach how to write self-introduction letters, but they will also provide realistic job information necessary for writing such letters, including company-specific job details and core competencies required for job performance. In particular, current employees from two companies, LG Electronics and Hyundai Engineering, will attend this live special lecture.
The live employment lecture will be broadcast live on the employment YouTube channel ‘Insadamdangja’ and anyone interested can watch it in real time. Additionally, if job concerns are submitted in advance, current employees will select stories during the live lecture and provide advice on the chosen concerns, allowing real-time communication and Q&A sessions with the mentors.
Furthermore, the last live employment special lecture of this year, to be held on October 21, will invite current employees from companies preferred by young people to provide realistic company-specific organizational culture and job information, as well as listen to the employment concerns of young job seekers.
Park Dae-woo, Director of Economic Job Planning at the Seoul Metropolitan Government, said, “We plan to actively support young people by diversifying employment support programs provided by Seoul City so that they can get jobs in companies and positions they are interested in.”
