Gwangyang-gun Jinaedeul Agricultural Cooperative Selected as 'Moduae Village Enterprise' by Ministry of the Interior and Safety

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) has been selected for the ‘2021 Moduae (愛) Village Enterprise Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Ginaedeul Agricultural Cooperative Corporation in Yeonggwang-gun will receive 100 million KRW in business development funds.

According to the county on the 28th, the Moduae Village Enterprise selects five enterprises nationwide by comprehensively evaluating the stability and scalability of enterprises and organizations that have the identity of village enterprises and have a growth foundation.

The Ginaedeul Agricultural Cooperative Corporation is a company that produces and sells secondary processed products using barley, and developed snack products that can be easily cooked in line with the trends of the COVID-19 era.

They continue to increase non-face-to-face sales through online live broadcasts, and show an upward trend in online purchase rates with the release of new products such as hot dogs and tteokbokki.

Also, through activities such as the Jeonnam Village Enterprise Council and the Young Farmers Association, they have built a network and are striving for stable profits and continuous job creation through win-win exchanges between the region and village enterprises.

A representative of Ginaedeul Agricultural Cooperative Corporation said, “We will create happy jobs for a life full of laughter in a livable rural area, and continue to play the role of village guardians so that the efforts of the elders for a warm home for young people will not be in vain.”

Meanwhile, Ginaedeul Agricultural Cooperative Corporation was selected as a Jeonnam-type preliminary village enterprise in 2013 and has shown steady growth. Last year, it was selected as the best village enterprise and currently maintains annual sales of around 600 million KRW, establishing itself successfully as a representative village enterprise of the county.
