'Bordeaux Special' Room-Compatible Kimchi Refrigerator Supporting Various Types of Wine Storage

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Winia Dimchae announced on the 28th that it has launched a new product, the 'Dimchae Bordeaux Special,' which applies the kimchi refrigerator 'Dimchae's ±0.1℃ ultra-precise constant temperature technology and the latest aging functions to optimally store various types of wine.

The Dimchae Bordeaux Special features a 4-door 5-room design that implements optimal temperature and humidity for each type of food and prevents odor mixing, maintaining the original taste and aroma of ingredients fresh for a long time through Winia Dimchae's 'Penta' independent cooling system. Additionally, the Bordeaux Special room, specialized for wine storage, supports customized storage temperatures for different wines such as red wine, white wine, and sparkling wine.

The Bordeaux Special room, located at the upper right, applies smart control to regulate the optimal temperature suitable for wine storage. It also includes a wine rack that minimizes vibration, allowing wine to be stored more conveniently and for longer periods. Besides wine, it also includes functions for storing various liquors and fresh foods.

Winia Dimchae explained that the Dimchae Bordeaux Special is useful not only for wine but also for storing general fresh foods, liquors, and beverages due to the application of the original Dimchae's independent cooling system. Furthermore, the premium aging technology, the ice-temperature aging mode, matures meats such as beef and pork between the freezing point (-1.7℃) and 0℃, enhancing the umami flavor of the meat.

In addition, a fermentation aging mode is applied that allows users to make and store Makgeolli and fruit syrups directly. It also includes a new aging algorithm that can increase the antioxidant capacity of aged kimchi stored in Dimchae to more than twice that of freshly stored kimchi.

The Dimchae Bordeaux Special is available for purchase at department stores, discount stores, Winia specialty stores, Hi-Mart, and online shopping malls, with a price around 4.8 million KRW.
