IBK Securities Launches 'Trade Stocks and Receive Stocks' Event on Industrial Bank of Korea Smart Banking

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] IBK Investment & Securities is conducting the second phase of the event "Trade Stocks and Receive Stocks," which awards stocks to customers using the stock trading service on IBK Industrial Bank's mobile platform, ‘i-ONE Bank’.

The stock trading service is available to anyone who opens an IBK Investment & Securities stock account non-face-to-face through the IBK Industrial Bank ‘i-ONE Bank’ app. To accommodate customers new to stocks, the interface has been designed to be simple and intuitive, enhancing user convenience.

Previously, in August, IBK Investment & Securities held a stock giveaway event to commemorate the launch of the stock trading service. Encouraged by the high response and increase in new customers, the second event will run from the 27th of this month until the 22nd of next month. The event targets customers who trade stocks through the i-ONE Bank app and apply for the event. A total of 1,000 customers will be selected weekly in four draws to receive one share of a domestically listed stock.

An IBK Investment & Securities representative stated, “We are conducting this event to provide customers with a positive experience in stock investment through our non-face-to-face platform,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen non-face-to-face financial services and lead the way in building services that customers want.”
