[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Google Korea is launching the 'Google for Startups Accelerator' program for the first time in Korea to support startups.
According to Google Korea on the 27th, the 'Google for Startups Accelerator' is a program designed to revitalize the startup ecosystem by providing systematic and professional support from Google to domestic startups.
The program offers customized training based on Google's technology, products, and global talent programs to domestic startups. It provides Google's mentorship, technical project support, as well as analysis and workshops related to customer acquisition and leadership development for founders.
Eligibility is limited to seed and Series A stage startups headquartered in Korea. The program targets startups in the digital content sector that are addressing digital environment issues by utilizing Google's products, services, and operational systems technologies.
Startups wishing to participate can apply through the application page for one month from today until October 29.
Sammy Kizilbash, Global Head of Google for Startups Accelerator, said, "We are pleased to support many Korean startups with high potential and growth prospects to lead innovation in the domestic startup ecosystem and actively engage with the global startup community." He added, "Google will provide support and benefits that offer practical help for growth."
