"Very Similar to Galaxy S21+" Samsung's 'Galaxy S22+' Rendering Leak

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Rendering images of Samsung Electronics' next-generation flagship smartphone, the 'Galaxy S22' series Plus (+) model, expected to be released early next year, have been leaked.

On the 25th (local time), IT specialized media 91mobiles, citing famous IT tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), revealed the rendering images of the S22+.

According to the released images, the exterior of the S22+ looks not much different from the current flagship model, the 'Galaxy S21' series. A punch-hole camera is installed at the center top of the screen, and the bezel appears to be slightly thinner than before. On the back, as with the previous model, three cameras are arranged vertically in the upper left corner.

The dimensions are 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6mm (height x width x thickness), and the thickness of the rear camera bump is 9.1mm. As with the previous model, the volume and power buttons are on the right frame, and a USB-C port and SIM tray are located at the bottom. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the color revealed through the rendering images is olive green, but it is unclear whether this color will be included in the official color options.

Furthermore, based on previously released information, the S22+ is expected to be equipped with Samsung Exynos 2100 as the application processor (AP), a 6.55-inch display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera setup including a 16-megapixel front selfie camera and a 50-megapixel main rear camera, and a battery with a capacity of 4500mAh.
