Direct Contracted 1,071,000 Doses of Moderna Vaccine Arrive at Incheon Airport

According to the COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team, 1,071,000 doses of Moderna vaccine arrived at Incheon Airport at around 2:04 PM on the Korean Air flight KE256.

The vaccines supplied this time are part of the 40 million doses under the direct contract. Moderna vaccines arrived with 112,000 doses in the first half of the year and 3,361,000 doses in July and August.

Since September, including the doses that arrived on this day, 10.4 million doses have been supplied, bringing the total amount of Moderna vaccines introduced to 13,873,000 doses.

Including other products besides Moderna, a total of 74.92 million doses of vaccines have been supplied so far.

Meanwhile, the vaccines secured through contracts with individual pharmaceutical companies and international organizations or through international cooperation include five types: Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novavax, totaling 194.9 million doses.
