Kim Jong-un Replies to Xi Jinping's Congratulatory Message: "Continuously Strengthening North Korea-China Comradely Unity"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a reply message to Chinese President Xi Jinping's congratulatory message, expressing confidence in the development of bilateral relations, the Korean Central News Agency reported on the 25th.

In his reply dated the 22nd to President Xi's congratulatory message on the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the North Korean regime, General Secretary Kim stated, "I am very pleased that the comradely unity and cooperation between Korea and China are continuously strengthening in the joint struggle to crush the vicious challenges and disruptive acts of hostile forces and to defend and glorify socialism."


He continued, "I am confident that the traditional Korea-China friendship will be sublimated and developed day by day through the joint efforts of the two parties and two countries, fully demonstrating its invincible vitality."


General Secretary Kim expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm congratulations and best wishes sent on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic, saying, "The active support and encouragement of Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping, the Chinese Party, government, and people are a great strength and encouragement to our party, government, and people who are vigorously advancing to implement the decisions of the 8th Party Congress."


He added, "Under the energetic leadership of the General Secretary, I sincerely hope that the fraternal Chinese people will achieve new and greater accomplishments on the historic journey to comprehensively build a socialist modernized country."


General Secretary Kim and President Xi have been further strengthening bilateral relations this year, which marks the 60th anniversary of the Korea-China Friendship Treaty, by exchanging congratulatory and reply messages amid the US-China conflicts.


Additionally, General Secretary Kim sent reply messages to Cuban President Miguel D?az-Canel, Vietnamese Communist Party General Secretary Nguy?n Ph? Tr?ng, and Vietnamese President Nguy?n Xu?n Ph?c in response to their congratulatory messages.


He also sent reply messages to Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, expressing gratitude and reinforcing bilateral friendship.


The news agency reported that on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the North Korean regime, heads of state and party leaders from various countries, including the Serbian President, as well as international organizations and groups, sent congratulatory messages and letters.
