Dobong-gu Opens Social Economy Enterprises Online Open Market 'Gachirogage'

October 14-15 'Gachirogage' Best Products Exhibition Held on 'Naver Shopping Live'... All Items Available from October on 'Gachirogage Homepage'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) will hold the 'Social Economy Festival' for two weeks from October 1 to 15 through an online open market and live commerce to expand the market for social economy enterprises and increase residents' awareness of the social economy.

'Live commerce' refers to a sales format where products are introduced via video on platforms such as the web and communication with viewers takes place.

First, from October 1 to 15, the district will operate the open market 'Gachirogage,' where products from Dobong-gu's social economy enterprises can be purchased in one place.

During the last two days, October 14-15, a special exhibition featuring the best products from 'Gachirogage' will be held on 'Naver Shopping Live.'

A total of nine social economy enterprises will participate in this event, selling ▲eco-friendly cotton products ▲DIY art kits ▲socks ▲small furniture (such as cutting boards) ▲fair trade coffee ▲village travel products ▲play education services, and more.

Specific product items and company names can be checked on the 'Gachirogage' website starting October 1.

The district also prepared a special discount sale in collaboration with Changdong E-Mart for one week starting October 6, so that local residents can continuously purchase high-quality social economy enterprise products close to their daily lives.

Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu said, "The 'Dobong-gu Social Economy Festival' was planned so that local residents can safely and easily experience products and services from social economy enterprises even amid the COVID-19 situation. We hope this festival will be an opportunity for social economy enterprises to pioneer online sales channels and a fresh economic activity time for residents to shop social economy products."
