Any Korean National Artist with Experience Participating in at Least One Art Exhibition Can Participate

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Total interior company Hyundai Livart announced on the 24th that it will hold the 'H Public Art Award' contest for domestic artists.
The H Public Art Award is a contest held with the purpose of discovering talented domestic artists and expanding opportunities to participate in public art installations in multi-family housing.
Co-hosted by Hyundai Livart and Hyundai Construction, this contest is open to any Korean national artists (individuals or teams) who have participated in at least one art exhibition or art project. The contest themes are threefold: 'Better Space, Better Life,' 'Values of Environment and Future Generations,' and 'Sophisticated Space Customization, Comfortable Elegance.' Details can be found on the official website, and the application period is from the 27th to the 30th (4 days).
The works of the 12 artists selected as final candidates will be exhibited for 8 days from November 30 to December 7 at the 'Seoul International Sculpture Festa 2021 Special Exhibition (Seoul Arts Center, Hangaram Art Museum),' and the 4 final selected works will be installed in apartment complexes newly constructed by Hyundai Construction in Seoul, Incheon, and Daejeon.
A Hyundai Livart official said, "We hope that through this contest, artists' innovative ideas will be realized and that the foundation of public art will be further expanded."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Livart, which is organizing this contest, recently conducted a public art project installed at the site of Hyundai Construction's premium apartment brand with a modern art museum concept, THE H, through its dedicated art consulting department 'ArtLab.' In addition, it has carried out art projects at Incheon Airport Terminal 1, Hyundai Department Store The Hyundai Seoul, and Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One.
