[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The 2021 Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo, which opened on the 10th of this month, attracted more than 150,000 visitors to the site by the 22nd, achieving great success.

On the 22nd, during the Chuseok holiday, the expo saw a peak of about 34,000 visitors. The expo was filled with exhibition and experience events centered on health, as well as various attractions and activities.

The 2021 Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo venue operated 10 themed exhibition halls to enhance understanding of Sansam (wild ginseng) and allowed visitors to directly experience and purchase related products. Over 70 rich performances and experience events such as Simmani (ginseng hunter) experiences, horseback riding, and drone experiences were available daily throughout the expo period.

Additionally, about 46 nationwide events were linked and held throughout the expo period, making the event even more diverse.

Various cultural and artistic events including exhibitions, music, theater, and competitions are held until the expo closes on the 10th of next month at the permanent and special stages inside the expo site, as well as at the Cultural Arts Center and student performance halls.

A visitor who came from Busan with their parents during the holiday said, “I live separately from my parents, but I brought them along for the first time in a while to celebrate Chuseok. They really enjoyed the many Sansam-related experience spaces while also enjoying the scenic area harmonized with flowers and sculptures.”

Meanwhile, the 2021 Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo, which sold more than 280,000 tickets in advance?exceeding half of the attendance goal even before opening?is being held until the 10th of next month at Hamyang Sangnim Park and Daebongsan Healing Valley.
