Improvement of Solnae Children's Park Playground Environment, Promotion of Ecological Playground Creation at Bukgajaemi Children's Park
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Solnae Children's Park in Songcheon-dong and Bukgajaemi Children's Park in Inhu-dong, Jeonju City, will be transformed into unique playgrounds where children can enjoy creative and adventurous play.
Jeonju City announced on the 23rd that it is promoting the 'Solnae Children's Park Playground Environment Improvement Project' and the 'Bukgajaemi Children's Park Ecological Playground Creation Project' with a total project cost of 837 million KRW.
First, Solnae Children's Park, located at 1274 Songcheon-dong 2-ga, will be developed into a creative playground where children can enjoy △slides △basket swings △net hammocks △trampolines △sand play by the end of this month.
Additionally, Bukgajaemi Children's Park, located at 843-1 Inhu-dong 1-ga, will be equipped with an adventure play structure, zip line, sand play area, rest and exercise facilities by the end of this year.
Jeonju City plans to apply universal design in the creation of these playgrounds so that anyone can easily use them regardless of gender, age, nationality, cultural background, or disability.
Along with this, the city plans to establish the '(tentative name) Yaho Mamkkeot Small Library' in Deokjin Park by the end of next month with a total project cost of 188 million KRW.
Earlier, in January, Jeonju City transformed Soettongguri Park, located in a residential complex in Deokjin-dong, into an adventure playground by installing an artificial hill play structure, zip line, and basket swings. In May, Hyomun Children's Park in Hyoja-dong was developed into a space where children can enjoy riding kickboards, bicycles, and skateboards, and nearby Pungnam Children's Park was created as a space where various play experiences such as basket swings, net play structures, and tree houses are available.
