Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo Heats Up... 100,000 Visitors During Chuseok

The family of Kim Hye-min, who lives in Jinju City, became the 100,000th lucky winner at the Gyeongnam Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Expo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] The Gyeongnam Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Expo Organizing Committee announced on the 22nd that the cumulative number of visitors surpassed 100,000 on the 21st, which was Chuseok.

The lucky 100,000th visitor on that day was the family of Kim Hye-min from Jinju City. Kim’s family said, “We came to the expo site with our parents to celebrate the Chuseok holiday, but we never expected such luck to come to us,” adding, “It feels even more meaningful to be the 100,000th visitor during a joyful holiday with family.”

They continued, “Since this is an anti-aging expo themed around wild ginseng, receiving wild ginseng, which is good for health, as a gift doubled our happiness.”

For the event honoring the 100,000th visitor, officials including Seo Chun-su, the governor of Hamyang County, Hwang Tae-jin, chairman of the county council, Kim Jae-woong, provincial assembly member, and Kim Jong-soon, secretary general, participated and presented the Kim family with a 10-year-old Hamyang wild ginseng set and a bouquet of flowers along with congratulatory remarks.

The organizing committee stated, “We plan to continue holding events for the 150,000th and 200,000th visitors.” The committee is operating the 2021 Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Expo under strict quarantine procedures, including the introduction of a pre-reservation system for exhibition halls and limiting the simultaneous capacity of each hall, to prevent the continued spread of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Expo is being held as an international event at the Millennium Forest Sangnim Park and Daebongsan Healing Valley until the 10th of next month under the theme “Millennium Wild Ginseng, the Dream of Life Extension.” It consists of 70 programs across 20 themes in 5 categories, including exhibition production, industrial exhibitions, academic conferences, performance events, and experiential activities.
