According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 19th, as of midnight, the cumulative confirmed cases increased by 41 from the previous day, totaling 7,735. Currently, 3,161 people are under self-quarantine. By region, there are 20 in Gumi, 5 in Gimcheon, 4 in Pohang and Gyeongsan, 2 in Gyeongju and Yeongcheon, and 1 each in Yeongju, Mungyeong, Yeongdeok, and Chilgok.

In Gumi, 19 contacts related to foreign agricultural workers tested positive, and one contact of a confirmed case related to a church in Gumi tested positive in a pre-release self-quarantine test.

Gumi City reported that after one foreign farm worker was confirmed positive the previous day, diagnostic tests were conducted on about 180 people, resulting in 19 foreign workers being confirmed positive in a cluster. Since they work moving between nearby cities and counties' farms, there is concern about additional secondary infections.

In Gimcheon, two contacts of confirmed cases tested positive during self-quarantine. Additionally, one person tested positive after showing symptoms and being tested at a screening clinic, and another case was imported from overseas.

In Pohang, two people who had contact with confirmed cases and two symptomatic individuals tested at screening clinics were confirmed positive. In Gyeongsan, three contacts of confirmed cases tested positive, and one symptomatic person tested positive after screening clinic testing.

In Gyeongju and Yeongcheon, two contacts of confirmed cases were confirmed positive, and in Yeongju, Mungyeong, Yeongdeok, and Chilgok, one contact of confirmed cases was confirmed positive in each area.

In Gyeongbuk, 188 domestic cases (excluding imported cases) occurred in the past week, with a weekly daily average of 26.9 confirmed cases.
