High School Student Booked for Filming Under Female Teacher's Skirt... More Victims Found on Phone

[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] A high school student was booked by the police for illegally filming parts of the bodies of five female teachers in Cheongju, Chungbuk.

According to the police on the 17th, a third-year student, Mr. A, at a high school in Cheongju, Chungbuk, was booked at the Cheongju Sangdang Police Station on charges of filming using a camera under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

Mr. A secretly filmed under the skirts, faces, and backs of five female teachers over two months from July to August, and was recently caught attempting to film under a female teacher's skirt using his mobile phone camera. The victim immediately reported the incident to the School Police Officer (SPO).

He had stored multiple photos of the female teachers' bodies on his phone, and it is known that he systematically saved the photos using cloud computing as well. So far, it has been confirmed that the illegal footage has not been distributed to any third parties.

Meanwhile, the school held a Teacher's Rights Protection Committee meeting and decided on a forced transfer. The committee reportedly did not impose expulsion, citing consideration of the student's future.
