Daewoo E&C Proposes 'The Summit The Tresia' for Noryangjin 5 District

Daewoo E&C proposed its high-end residential brand, 'The Summit The Tresia,' for the Noryangjin 5 District Redevelopment Promotion Zone (hereinafter Noryangjin 5 District), which it bid on the 16th. This is the second time Daewoo E&C has proposed a high-end brand in Dongjak-gu, following the 'Heukseok 11 District Redevelopment Project,' for which it was selected as the construction company in January this year.

Noryangjin New Town is a key location in the southwestern area of Seoul, expected to host numerous high-end brands in the future. It covers a total area of 738,000㎡ and is divided into eight districts. Three districts (1, 3, and 5) are either about to select or are in the process of selecting construction companies, while five districts (2, 4, 6, 7, and 8) have already completed the selection of construction companies.

A Daewoo E&C official stated, "Noryangjin New Town is gaining attention as a representative residential complex in Seoul, along with Heukseok New Town, due to its excellent accessibility to the three major business districts: Yeouido, Gwanghwamun, and Gangnam. We plan to develop District 5 into a landmark complex representing Noryangjin New Town by applying our high-end brand."

Daewoo E&C plans to apply its 'Prugio Summit' brand to complexes that meet the criteria for high-end brand application?including location, market price, design, construction cost, and future value?and that can represent their respective areas.

Prugio Summit is Daewoo E&C’s high-end brand with the philosophy of "privilege enjoyed at the peak of life." It features a simple yet dignified interior and exterior design, along with the use of premium finishing materials and various specialized facilities, making it a landmark complex in the region. Currently, six complexes have been supplied in Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu, Yongsan-gu in Seoul, and Gwacheon City.

Meanwhile, Daewoo E&C achieved a contract performance of 2.1638 trillion KRW in redevelopment projects this year by winning the Daejeon Seongnam-dong 3 District Redevelopment Project last month. If it successfully wins the Noryangjin 5 District bid and other projects currently in preparation as planned, it is expected to achieve a record-high contract performance exceeding 2.8794 trillion KRW in 2017.
