[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Krafton announced on the 16th that the number of pre-registrations for its upcoming release, "Battlegrounds: NEW STATE," has surpassed 40 million.
This achievement was made possible by the successful completion of the second alpha test and the pre-registration campaign in India, which began on the 1st of this month.
The second alpha test was held over three days starting from the 27th of last month across 28 countries including Asia, the Middle East, Turkey, and Egypt. Krafton stated, "The response from fans who participated in the test was very positive," adding, "Praise mainly focused on the gameplay content that inherits and deepens the original battle royale mechanics and the differentiated technology."
Krafton plans to fully dedicate itself to refining the game by incorporating user feedback from the second alpha test until the official launch.
Pre-registration is currently underway on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and the official release date is expected to be announced in October.
