'Get Tested at Highway Rest Areas'

On the 15th, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, a temporary COVID-19 screening clinic is operating at the Yongin Rest Area on the Yeongdong Expressway in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province, heading towards Incheon.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters held a regular briefing that day and announced plans to install 13 additional temporary screening clinics at terminals, stations, and rest areas to allow travelers to get tested during the Chuseok holiday travel period. The installation sites include one each at Dongseoul Bus Terminal and Busan City Hall in Seoul and Busan, respectively; three in Gangwon; one in Chungbuk; one in Jeonbuk; four in Jeonnam; and two in Gyeongnam. Additionally, four temporary screening clinics at highway rest areas, which opened during last summer’s vacation season?Anseong Rest Area on the Seoul-bound Gyeongbu Expressway, Icheon Rest Area on the Hanam-bound Jungbu Expressway, Hwaseong Rest Area on the Seoul-bound Seohaean Expressway, and Yongin Rest Area on the Incheon-bound Yeongdong Expressway?will continue to operate.
