[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Kim Yongho, a former entertainment reporter, is drawing attention by announcing his return just over 10 days after declaring a suspension of his YouTube activities.

On the 11th, Kim said on his Facebook, "You can look forward to the issue I am currently investigating," adding, "We will become stronger."

Kim, who became the subject of an investigation on the 7th for charges including defamation and insult but was arrested by the police for failing to appear, was released after the 48-hour detention warrant period expired. The prosecution dismissed the police's request for Kim's arrest warrant, stating there was no risk of evidence destruction or flight.

Kim also said, "It was the longest 48 hours of my life," and "Many people have been worried, so I am leaving a short message. I am okay."

Earlier, on the 27th of last month, Kim had declared a full suspension of his YouTube activities during a live broadcast on his YouTube channel 'Kim Yongho Entertainment Chief.'

At that time, he said, "While attacking others as monsters, I realized there was another monster inside me, and I thought I needed to stop before going further," adding, "I don't think I will be able to broadcast until I become confident in myself."

He also mentioned the celebrities he had raised suspicions about through his YouTube broadcasts, saying, "I wondered if I had been too intoxicated by the knife stabbing others, and if I had stained my knife with too much blood."

Kim then said, "I think I played my role during the era of leftist dictatorship." Then he added, "At some point, I became power. Even celebrities who were close to me these days find me difficult," and "It was good that I served as a warning to leftist celebrities like Jung Woo-sung and Kim Je-dong, but at some point, I became arrogant."

So far, Kim has continued to expose the private lives of celebrities such as actress Han Ye-seul, broadcaster Park Soo-hong, and former Captain Lee Geun. Kim's YouTube channel has about 660,000 subscribers.
