According to Shinsegae Department Store on the 8th, an employee at the Chanel store in the main branch located in Jung-gu, Seoul, tested positive, leading to the early closure of the store the previous afternoon. The employee had been working at the store until the 6th and underwent a COVID-19 test after feeling unwell.
Currently, disinfection and sanitization are being carried out at the Chanel store, and a full investigation of all store employees has begun. The reopening date will be decided after consultations with health authorities.
A Shinsegae Department Store official stated, "We are conducting a full investigation of the store employees," and added, "Once the epidemiological investigation is complete, we will discuss with health authorities to determine the reopening date."
