[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Director Kim Sugwan of Sangmusuchi Dental Clinic donated 2 million won in emergency medical expenses to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
According to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea on the 8th, the donation ceremony was attended by Director Kim Sugwan, Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and Kim Seonpyo, External Cooperation Team Manager of Chosun University Hospital.
The donation will be used to support medical expenses for neighbors in need of care within the region.
Director Kim said, "I want to be a support to neighbors struggling with medical expenses in Korea," and left a request for Chosun University Hospital to work hard for the health of patients.
Meanwhile, Director Kim Sugwan is the 37th member of the Gwangju Honor Society and actively contributes to the promotion of a sharing culture and welfare enhancement in the region.
The Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors of the Community Chest of Korea.
Members qualify by pledging to pay 100 million won or more either as a lump sum or within five years, aiming to solve community problems and lead the maturation of the donation culture to promote the development of the social community.
In the Gwangju area, starting with the first member joining in 2010, a total of 125 members have been leading the sharing culture in the region.
