President Moon Sends Congratulatory Message to Tokyo Paralympic Medalists

Conveying the congratulatory message on SNS: "Celebrating with the people, wishing a healthy return"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] President Moon Jae-in sent congratulatory messages to the Tokyo Paralympics medalists.


In a post on social networking service (SNS) on the 5th, President Moon said, "I sent congratulatory messages to Boccia players Jeong Ho-won, Choi Ye-jin, Kim Han-su who won gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, table tennis players Cha Soo-yong, Park Jin-cheol, Kim Hyun-wook, shooting player Shim Young-jip, and taekwondo player Joo Jeong-hoon. I congratulate them together with the people."


In the congratulatory message sent to Boccia pair player Jeong Ho-won, President Moon said, "I am proud of Jeong Ho-won, the eldest member of the Republic of Korea national team who has topped Boccia for nine consecutive times. He made the status of a Boccia powerhouse known to the world. Thank you for your hard work. I hope you return home in good health."

In the congratulatory message sent to Boccia pair player Choi Ye-jin, President Moon said, "Choi’s confident performance gave the people the greatest pride. Choi’s mother, ‘Moon Woo-young,’ who worked hard as a game partner, is also a key figure in the gold medal."


In the congratulatory message sent to Boccia pair player Kim Han-su, President Moon said, "It is a proud achievement made by trusting each other with one heart. Kim’s mother, ‘Yoon Chu-ja,’ who was a game partner, is also a key figure in the gold medal."


In the congratulatory message sent to table tennis men’s class 1-2 team player Cha Soo-yong, President Moon said, "The eldest player Cha led the team well. The spirit of sportsmanship that respects the winner showed the dignity of the Republic of Korea national team."
