Ssangyong Motor unveiled the new Rexton Sports Khan camping car, "Road Khan," for the first time at the international outdoor camping and leisure festival "2021 Suwon Messe GO CAMP Season 2."

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] SsangYong Motor announced on the 3rd that it unveiled the New Rexton Sports Khan camping car 'Road Khan' for the first time at the international outdoor camping and leisure festival '2021 Suwon Messe GOCAF Season 2.'

From the 3rd to the 5th, SsangYong Motor will exhibit a total of three camping cars including the Road Khan, Tivoli Air 5-seater, and 2-seater camping cars, along with camping equipment, at the 2021 GOCAF Season 2 held at Suwon Station, Gyeonggi Province.

According to SsangYong Motor, the newly unveiled 'Road Khan' was developed to be used as a daily car on weekdays and as a leisure camping car on weekends. The vehicle height (2140mm) was minimized to allow entry into apartment underground parking lots while enhancing convenience.

The Road Khan maximizes space utilization by installing an integrated rooftop pop-up tent, integrated camping body construction, rear trunk opening, and various multi-purpose storage compartments. Additionally, various convenience features are standard, including ▲KEPCO electric charging system ▲driving charger ▲parking heater ▲refrigerator ▲microwave ▲front kitchen sink ▲tempered glass sink bowl ▲electric and water systems.

Especially, adding options such as ▲rear sliding camping kitchen set ▲LED TV ▲external shower box ▲Bluetooth audio system ▲awning ▲large solar system ▲automatic pop-up system (4-season type) enables more convenient camping.

The Road Khan offers a 4-wheel drive system and diversified load capacity options according to customer needs, such as 5-link suspension (500kg) and power leaf suspension (700kg). When based on the New Rexton Sports Khan Wild model (28.76 million KRW), the starting price is 56.26 million KRW.
