Blade and Soul 2 is a game that tells the story following the original Blade and Soul, which was released in 2012. A total of 7.46 million people participated in the pre-registration, setting the highest domestic pre-registration record, surpassing Lineage 2M (7.38 million).

Currently, Blade and Soul 2 holds the 2nd and 3rd positions on the Google Play Store popularity chart. The 2nd place is the version restricted to teenagers, and the 3rd place is rated for ages 12 and up. The 1st place is Netmarble's Marvel Future Revolution.
