[Asia Economy Reporter Kim So-young] Lydia Ko (24, New Zealand), a Korean professional female golfer, is reportedly dating Jung Joon (26), the son of Jung Tae-young, Vice Chairman of Hyundai Card.


According to business circles on the 24th, the two are continuing a serious relationship with the consent of both families.


Lydia Ko recently posted a photo with Jung on her Instagram with the caption "Soon." Currently, this photo is not visible on social networking services (SNS).


Currently ranked 5th in the women's golf world rankings, Lydia Ko was born in Seoul in 1997 and immigrated to New Zealand with her parents at the age of six. Known as a "prodigy girl" for her outstanding golf skills from a young age, she has held the number one spot in the world women's professional golf rankings. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.


Jung, who is dating Lydia Ko, is the son of Jung Tae-young, Vice Chairman and CEO of Hyundai Card, Hyundai Capital, and Hyundai Commercial. He is known to be majoring in Philosophy and Data Science at Claremont McKenna College in California, USA.
