[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 24th with JinHakSa to jointly promote the 'Naver Certificate and Credential-Based Service Business.'
Following this agreement, Naver will launch a service that allows certificates registered with the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation (495 types) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (19 types) to be easily linked when writing resumes on 'Catch,' the employment portal operated by JinHakSa.
Individual members of the JinHakSa employment portal Catch can click 'Import Naver Certificates' when registering their resumes to quickly and easily verify their held certificates and select the desired certificates to accurately input certificate names, issuing organizations, and acquisition dates without any typos.
Launched in January as the first of its kind in Korea, 'Naver Certificates' currently allows users to conveniently check a total of 514 certificates, including 495 from the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation and 19 from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Users can check their certificates by pulling down the first screen of the Naver app or by clicking 'Na.' or their profile image located at the top.
Additionally, as of August, Naver Certificates have surpassed 2.1 million users and plans to introduce 25 national certificates from the Korea Communications Agency and scores from the internationally recognized English test, Korea GTELP, within the year.
Hwang Ji-hee, Naver Certification Service Leader, stated, "We will strive to rapidly expand certificate issuers and usage locations so that anyone can easily write and verify resumes anytime and anywhere using Naver Certificates."
