[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] NCSoft announced on the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for entertainment business cooperation with Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
NCSoft operates the fandom platform 'Universe.' Through this agreement, the two companies will collaborate to involve artists under Sony Music Entertainment, including Sony Music Korea, in Universe.
Together with participating artists, they will produce various content such as live streaming, photo shoots and videos, and AI voice-based services to be showcased on Universe.
NCSoft and Sony Music Korea will also pursue various global collaborations. When releasing music content of Universe participating artists to the global music market, they plan to utilize Sony Music Korea's distribution channels.
Universe is currently available in 134 countries including Korea, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. Through Universe, a total of 22 artist groups are communicating with their fans.
